Courtney Husby
Manager, Funeral Director & Embalmer
Courtney Husby is the Managing Funeral Director and Embalmer at Phillip Funeral Home, where she has been serving families with compassion and professionalism since July 2012. A lifelong resident of southeastern Wisconsin, Courtney was born and raised in Sussex and currently lives in Hartford.
She began her funeral service career as an apprentice at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home in Waukesha and completed her apprenticeship at Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home in West Allis. Through these experiences, she developed a strong foundation in caring for families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Courtney is married to her husband, Jeremy, and they have one daughter, Laila. Outside of her work, she enjoys staying active through exercise, spending time with her dogs Winnie and Stella, and making lasting memories with her family. Summers often find her “up north” in Three Lakes, where she enjoys the peace and beauty of Wisconsin’s outdoors.
