Obituary

Wilmer Otto Dorzok, age 101, passed away peacefully at home on December 24,2025. Wilmer was born in Corsica, South Dakota on November 24,1924, the son of the late Karl and Bertha (Nee: Gerlach) Dorzok. He proudly served in the United States Army. After his time in the military, he worked as an Appliance Repair man, spending majority of career employed for Steiner Electric. On May 26,1945, Wilmer married Louise Rehm, they remained happily married until God called her home in December of 2003.
He was an avid card player, enjoying the game with his family and neighbors. He loved dogs and enjoyed joking and making anyone he encountered to laugh. Wilmer was very independent and active; he was still driving and loved to help his neighbors with their yards.
When asked what his secret was to living, he would always reply “Keep moving”. He was a simple man who always made sure his family knew how important they were to him, and enjoyed his time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wilmer will be missed by his children, Judith Roels, Beverly (Tom) Geldnich, Brian (Dawn) Dorzok, and Elaine (Glenn) Radzinski. He will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, his close friend George Straub as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Louise, parents Karl and Bertha, son Gary, sister Ann, two brothers, Eldor and Edwin, granddaughter Angela, and Great- grandson Zachary Schmoldt, as well as other family and friends who have passed away before him.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 5,2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. Pastor Sharon Stier will be officiating services. Luncheon will follow. Burial will be private for family.

The family would like to thank Horizon Home Care & Hospice for taking good care of Wilmer. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel U.C.C. or Humane Society of Washington County have been suggested.
