Violet June Wisnefske (Nee Ziminski) passed away peacefully on January 24, 2016 at Cedar Lake Home surrounded by family. Violet was born on June 15, 1923 to John and Helen Ziminski. She married Donald F. Wisnefske on December 15, 1945.
Violet enjoyed tending to her many flower gardens, canning, sewing, and tying quilts.
Violet was blessed with six children: Gloria SearVogel of Iola, Marilyn (David) Kasten of West Bend, Greg (Linda) Wisnefske of Theresa, Donna (Karl Terlinden) Kogler, of Kewaskum, Mike (Heidi) Wisnefske of West Bend, and Jackie (Matt) Krewald, of West Bend. Special grandmother to Laura, Denise, Brian, Jonathan, Jessica, Ashley, Terry, Amanda, Michael (Michelle) Kasten, Craig (Ashly) Kasten, Chad Wisnefske, Justin Wisnefske, Jerod Wisnefske, Jenny (Mark) Kogler-Schanen, Abbey (Joe) Fin, Liz Kogler, Matt (Stacey) Wisnefske, Pete Wisnefske, Al Wisnefske, Keaton (Rhiannon) Olson, Jenna Olson, Jade Krewald, and Amber Krewald (Artie Klemme – fiancee`). Great grandmother to Heather, Derrick, Jeslynn, Brittany, Nathan, Patrick, Hannah, Alivia, Weston, Kash, Onnah, Benjamin, Liam, Cooper, and Croix. Great great grandmother to Dale, Brantley, and Alexa. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, siblings, and great granddaughter Addison Klemme.
As requested, a private memorial service was held on Thursday, January 28, at the Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend.
The family would like to personally thank Dr. Robert Gibson for his professional care during Vi's journey.
