Viola V. Gonnering (nee Anders), age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Samaritan in West Bend. She was born on October 16, 1922 in Fond Du Lac, WI to Herman and Theresa (nee Bertram) Anders. She loved being a part of Holy Angels Catholic Church, quilting, sewing and baking famous "Everlasting Biscuits" which were nicknamed "Never Lasting".

Viola is survived by her; sons Joseph, Mark (Sandra); grandchildren Bonnie (fiancé Ron), Nancy (Brian) Jordan, Steve (Kim), Bridgette, Samantha, Danielle; great-grandchildren Courtney Gonnering, Clayton Juech, Hunter and Jacob Jordan, Calvin and Zack Amen, Annabelle and Anthony Gonnering; her brother David Anders. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ervin Gonnering, parents, brothers Harold (Eva), Edmund (Marge), Roman (Marie), sisters Alieta (Albert) Feucht, and Leona (Franklyn) Lord.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 6:00PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave, West Bend) with Father Gerald Brittain presiding. Visitation will be at church from 4:00PM until 5:45PM. Interment will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 9:30AM at Holy Angels Cemetery (Main St. and Decorah Rd, West Bend).
