Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Leroy Ruttinger, age 66, found peace on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home in the Town of Trenton. Tom was born on May 28, 1957 in Milwaukee to Leroy and Betty (nee Lucka) Ruttinger. He lived his entire life in Washington County, attending St Boniface Grade School and graduating from Washington High School in Germantown. He married the love of his life, Jane (nee Hoelzer), in 1980. Tom worked for many years at Milwaukee Milk Producers then went on to run a successful landscape business with Jane.
Tom is survived by his sisters, Mary (James) Fergal and Suzanne Ruttinger; sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Jim) Raml and Barbara (Mike) Brunner; brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Hoelzer; nephews, Nathan (Robyn) Fergal, Ron (Terri) Hoelzer, Randy Hoelzer; nieces, Sarah (John) Juchemich, Hannah Fergal, Rebecca (Chris) Antonicci, Shelly Borenz, Renee (Tom) MacDonald, Robyn (Nick) Kibler, Rachel (Mark) Farchione and Tamara (Tyler) Layne. Tom is further survived by great-nephews, great-nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Jane, stepson Chad Michaels, his parents, father and mother in-law Robert and Elsie Hoelzer, special Uncle Phil Grohs, brother-in-law Larry Hoelzer and nephew Ryan Brunner.
A Celebration of Life for Tom will be at Firemen's Park - Indoor Pavillion -(W162 N11870 Park Avenue Germantown, WI) on Saturday, October 14th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM with a "Toast to Tom" at 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Washington County Humane Society (3650 State Road 60 Slinger, WI 53086).
