Thomas James Hilt, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. He was born in Mobridge, SD on September 25, 1944 to John and Hazel (nee Ulestad) Hilt. Thomas graduated from Mobridge High School, was in the U.S. Navy and retired from Kerry Ingredients in Jackson, WI. He loved reading books, listening to music, going to the casino and more than anything, he liked to make people laugh!

Thomas is survived by his mother, Hazel; son Thomas (Christine); grandson Sebastian; brothers John (Karie), Mike (Roberta) and sister Carol (Richard) Myxter. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Thomas is preceded in death by his father, John.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel. The Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10th from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM.
