Obituary
Thomas L. Disher, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2025, at Cedar Community in West Bend. He was 73 years old.
He was born on Jan 2, 1952, to the late Aloise and Virginia (Shulfer) Disher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tom graduated from Boys Tech in Milwaukee in 1970. He worked a few different jobs until finding International Thermal Systems in 1996. He would eventually retired from there. His Field Service Technician position allowed him to travel the world making new friends wherever he went and was known as "The Oven Man."
Tom married Patricia (Pat) Eischen in 1983 in Milwaukee. Tom and Pat enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Tom and Pat had many world travel adventures together and enjoyed playing golf. Tom also enjoyed researching family history and celebrating his Polish heritage.
He is survived by his wife Pat Disher, his children Matthew (Dawn) Disher, Megan (Travis) Melville, their mother Gail Becker and his 6 grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Marvin, his sister, Shirley (John) Roohana, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 9:30am until 11:15am, with a short prayer at 11:30am, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Burial will be private at a later date.
