Obituary

Thomas Glen Cowan "TC" was 74 years old and died on November 22, 2024. Tom was born May 10 ^th , 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The son of Glen and Leona (nee Knippel) Cowan. Tom attended St. Anthony Catholic Grade School and graduated from Menomonee Falls High School. He was in a two-year apprenticeship for "Floor Covering". Tom was a Journeyman for over 40 years. On May 17 ^th , 1969, Tom marries Janice Voit. They have known each other since grade school. They were happily married for over 55 years. Tom enjoyed Cars and Motorcycles.

Tom is survived by his wife, Janice (nee Voit) Cowan and their three children, Richard (Kathy) Cowan of Germantown, WI., Candice (Stephen) Rakowski of Lakeland, TN., Jacquelyn (Jason) Schaal of Slinger, WI., and bonus child, Tom's nephew, Joseph (Robin) Slamka- Joe was with him for 8 years. Tom's grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kyle Cowan, Cecilia and Thomas Rakowski, Alana and Jacob Schaal and Nikki Slamka. Tom is further survived by his sisters, Mary Boyes and Susan Cowan; sisters-in-law, Barbara Sauter and Laura Slamka.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Leona and his sister Liz.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St. Slinger, WI 53086) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be at church on Sunday, December 29 ^th from 1:00pm until 2:45pm. Private Family Interment will be at Saint Anthony Cemetery in Menomonee Falls, WI on a later date.
