Obituary

Terry O. Freeman passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 69 years.
Terry was born on June 11, 1944 in Dalhart, TX to Carl and Elva (nee Ehart) Freeman. Terry proudly dedicated eight years of service to the United States Navy. He married Patricia "Patty" Murphy on April 30, 1965. Upon moving to West Bend, Terry and Patty became members of the West Bend Moose Lodge #1398 in 1971. Terry held multiple positions both at the local and state level and was involved for many years with his wife, Patty, as chairman of Moose Charities. In 1994, he achieved the highest degree of Pilgrim and was, most recently, in the process of becoming the Pilgrim Membership Chairman.
Terry began his career at Inland Diesel as a diesel mechanic after his separation from the United States Navy. He then went on to start his own business, Badger Engines Inc., in the early 80's which is still in operation to this day.
Terry is survived by his children Ann (Brian) Borchardt of Campbellsport, Michael (Kelly) of Normal, IL, Russell of Red Granite, and Kae (Chris) Anderson of West Bend; grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Christopher, Lindsay, Zachary, Alexander, Emilee, Ryan, Bethany, Megan, and Alec; and special friend Linda Wren. He is further survived by his mother Elva Freeman; mother-in-law Mary Ann Makal; siblings Louise Newman and Alvin (Debbie) Freeman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Terry is preceded in death by his wife Patty; father Carl; father-in-law Cyril; and siblings Harlan Freeman, and Earlene Binderim.
A Funeral Service for Terry will be at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. with Rev. David Schoob presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM on Friday, July 5, 2013 with a Moose Pilgrim service beginning at 5:45 PM. Inurnment of cremains will take place at Washington County Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials are appreciated to Moose Charities, 155 N International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
