Susan “Susie” Lynne Holtslander (née Beutel), age 80, of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 4, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Delos H. and Mary Jane (née Yanz) Beutel. Susie graduated from Whitefish Bay High School, class of 1963.

Susie was a very hard-working person who held a variety of careers throughout her life. She also enjoyed volunteering at different schools.

Susie loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed family gatherings during birthdays and holidays, maintaining a meticulous yard and planting flowers during the summer, being surrounded by butterflies in her yard and around her home, Corvette rides in the country, baking Christmas cookies with her family, 4th of July celebrations, golfing, and bowling. Towards the end of her life, she also found joy in watching game shows, playing dice and card games. Susie lit up the room with her beautiful blue eyes.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Gerald “Gerry” Holtslander; her loving daughter, Kim (Fritz) Bucholtz (née Ziemer); her cherished grandsons, Fred and Eric Bucholtz; and her sister-in-law, Kim (Steve) Khail. She is further survived by nephews Jeff (Marisabel) and Scott (Darlene) Beutel, her niece, Hope (Gautam) Samant, as well as many relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Delos H. Beutel and Mary Jane (Yanz) Beutel, her brother, Robert “Bob” W. (Nancy) Beutel.

A celebration of life will be held this summer with close family and friends.
Susie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
