Susan Marie Noegel (Nee Kohler) of West Bend, Wisconsin, Age 67, died peacefully at home on April 6, 2018, after over 10 years of battling leukodystrophy and brain cancer. She was born to John and Mary (Nee Dalton) Kohler on September 22, 1950 in Hartford, Wisconsin. She married Michael Noegel of Richfield, Wisconsin on April 17, 1982. Together they have one son, Michael Noegel II. She will lovingly be missed by her siblings Mary Beth Miller, Grace (Gerald) Buchmeier, Joseph Kohler, Jane (James) Fellenz, Rita (Mark) Unertl, and John (Marsha) Kohler. She is further survived by her mother-in-law Loretta (Nee Krebs) Noegel, sister-in-law Kathleen (Robert) Schreffler, brother-in-law Donald (Veronica) Noegel, and sister-in-law Susan Noegel, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Arlene and Jean and brother James, as well as her father-in-law Jerome Noegel and brother-in-law Robert Miller.
Susan attended UW-Milwaukee and Waukesha County Technical College. She worked in health care and was in janitorial services at Slinger Schools. She was a long time member of St. Peter's Parish in Slinger where she was a greeter. Susan was always fun loving and generous with her time. You could count on her to arrive to any event with a basket of baked goods and her Irish smile and laugh. She was an avid gardener, loved music, loved to bake, and cherished her time with her husband and son.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St., Slinger). Internment will be on Monday, April 16 at 11:00am at the new St. Peter's Cemetery (4170 Hwy 175, Hartford). Visitation will be at the church only on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 3:30pm until time of mass (5:00pm) with a gathering in the church hall following mass.
