Susan R. Bauer "Beaver", age 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18th, 2015 at Kathy Hospice. She was born on February 23, 1955 in Fond Du Lac, WI to Reinhold and Flora (nee Engel) Krug. Sue graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1973. She met Leroy Bauer and they married on May 21, 1988.

Sue loved disco and Rock music and was always the life of the party. She had the gift of being a comedian anywhere she went. Her animals Bailey and Fur Ball meant so much to her. Sue added much joy to the lives of those around her. Sue enjoyed playing bingo at the casinos and online. She will be remembered for the heartfelt emails she sent to those she loved. She liked to cook and bake. No company ever left her home hungry.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Leroy; siblings Jim (Karen) Krug of Fond Du Lac and Jerry (Joan) Krug of West Bend; step-siblings Jerry (Mary) Mertz of Sheboygan, Bill (MaryEllen) Mertz of Carol Stream, IL, Roger (Kathy) Mertz of Allenton, Bob Mertz of Slinger and Kathy Mertz of Green Bay; brothers-in-law Allen (Helen) Bauer of West Bend, Ronald (Bonita) Bauer of Menomonee Falls; sisters-in-law Marijean (Robert) Janzer of West Bend and Arla Krug of Fond Du Lac; Further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert, step father Armand Mertz, parents-in-law Alfred and Genevieve Bauer, sister-in-law Carol Jean Bauer and beloved companion Mika.

A Memorial Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 West Paradise Drive West Bend, WI 53095) on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
