Obituary
Stanley R. Wilkins passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the age of 101, at Cedar Community. He was born in River Falls, WI, son of Osmer and Zella (nee Webster) Wilkins. He married the love of his life June (nee Halaska) on June 28, 1952. Stanley was a proud United States Marine. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, cards, and was an avid Brewers and Packers fan.
Beloved husband of June L. Wilkins of 72 years. Loving father of Ron (Susan) Wilkins of Sussex, WI, Gary (Barb) Wilkins of Lucedae MS, and Lisa Wilkins of Allen TX. Proud grandfather of Brandon Wilkins, Cori (Joe) Strosin, and Nick Wilkins. Great-grandfather of Damian Wilkins, Bradley Wilkins, Colton Strosin, and Kaliana Strosin. Further survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Wendell and Dean, and a sister, Mary.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 3:00PM until 4:45PM, with a 5:00PM memorial service, at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Stanley will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cedar Lake Community would be appreciated.
