Shirley M. Schuppel (nee Werner) age 93, passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1922 in the Town of Wayne to John and Emma (nee Nisius) Werner. Shirley enjoyed traveling, sight-seeing, playing cards, big band music, dancing, bowling, word books, making tasty meals, baking cookies and delicious chocolate cake.

Shirley is survived by her son James (Tally) of Park Falls, daughter Jean (David) Peterson of Des Moines, IA, son Bob (Heidi Baumann-Schuppel) of Slinger, daughter-in-law Deborah (Mike) McGuire of West Bend. She is further survived by eleven grandchildren: James Schuppel, John Schuppel, Marcy Stone, Brad Peterson, Daniel Gardner, Stephanie Schladweiler, Ross Peterson, Susan Schuppel-Paul, Katie Herriges, Sandra Ritschke and Alec Schuppel, 17 great-grandchilren and one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Richard "Dick" Schuppel, and sisters Alvina Meyer and Jeanette Westerman.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 6:30pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend (1420 W Paradise Drive). Visitation will be on Friday, April 17 at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until time of service (6:30 pm). Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park on Saturday, April 18th at 9:00 AM.
