Shirley A. Helmer (nee Hansen), age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend surrounded by her family. She was born on May 5, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI to LaVerne and Mary (nee Roets) Hansen. Shirley was a dedicated employee of the Aurora Clinics, she enjoyed her 1 week get-a-way to Door County, she was an active bowler and loved watching the wildlife around her. Shirley's world evolved around her grandchildren and family time!

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Bob, of 43 years; daughter Vicki (Kevin) Weston; grandsons Tyler (Isabella Roque) Nordby, Jerod Nordby; granddaughter Olivia Weston; siblings John (Vicki) Hansen, Kathleen Hansen, Janet (John) Reichert, Robert (Carol) Hansen and siblings-in-law Michael (Tracy) Helmer, Bonnie Helmer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Shirley is preceded in death her parents and parents-in-law.

A Memorial Service will be at 7:00PM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of the service (7:00PM). Private entombment at Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
