Sean Matthew Held, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was born on May 1, 1975 to Ronald Held and Judith E. Schall-Held.

Sean enjoyed helping people and took pride in his accomplishments. He had a degree in Tool & Die Manufacturing from MPTC. He spent many years working in several area industries. Sean took pleasure in playing softball with his father and cousins in area softball leagues. His interests were gardening and collecting coins and baseball cards. Sean was an avid sportsman and outdoor enthusiast. Sean's truest measure was his ability to help people in any need. He will be sorrowfully missed by his daughter, Keira who was the sunrise and sunset of his life, his family, and anyone fortunate enough to call him a friend.

He is survived by his precious daughter, Keira; grandmother, Margaret Held; father, Ron Held; mother, Judy Held; brothers Christopher Held and Chad Held; uncles Rick (Lavonne) Held and John (Regan) Held; aunts Suzanne (Don) Kern and Barbara (Tony) Falkenthal; cousins Bryan Held, Erin (Mike) Schloemer, Michelle (Derrick) Disterhaft, Ellie Held, Jake Held, Amanda Falkenthal, and Blake Falkenthal. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Sean is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Held; maternal grandparents Frank and Marjorie Schall; and niece, Danielle Held.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. The visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be for the wishes of the family.
