Sara "Sandy" J. Bazelak (nee Jannetto), age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend. She was born on March 2, 1927 to the late Sam and Mary (nee Sirna). She was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital for over ten years. Sandy loved knitting and crocheting. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her loving children, Sheryl Ulemen, Nancy (Jon) Schlindwein, Martin (Ruth) Bazelak; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Martin, Michael, Andrew, Adam, Tracy, Tod, Penny; several great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen (Bob) Herzberg; son-in-law, Dennis Brunner; and sister-in-law, Karen. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband, Clement; daughter, Paula Brunner; and brother, Carl Jannetto.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:30 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish (1025 S 7th Ave, West Bend) with Fr. Enrique Hernandez presiding. The visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM. Interment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association (620 S 76th St, Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214).
