Ruth O. Zingsheim (nee Taylor), age 73 of West Bend, Passed away Monday, June 30th, 2014 at the Samaritan Health Care Center. Ruth was born on December 26, 1940 to the late Karl and Marie (nee Jansen) Taylor.

Ruth met Lawrence at the West Bend Company where they both worked. They later married on June 25, 1960. While their children were all young, she was a stay at home mom. In 1972 she volunteered at the Allenton Grade School where later she became the Media Technician. She enjoyed her work with the children for 27 years. Ruth was also a volunteer teacher for the confirmation class at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Ruth also enjoyed traveling, cooking, her garden and flowers. She especially loved her family and grandchildren.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her children Larry (Cindy) of Kewaskum, Jeffrey (Sharon) of Campbellsport, grandchildren Jena Marie and Jacob Ryan Richter and Samantha Jean Zingsheim, her siblings Karl (Bev) Taylor, Maryann (Ben) Kappler, Carole (Perry) Swenson and Alec (Karen) Taylor. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Laura Richter her siblings Robert Taylor, Albert Taylor and Gerald Taylor.

A funeral service for Ruth will be on Thursday July 3rd at 6:30pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend (1420 W. Paradise Dr, West Bend) with Father Edwin Kornath officiating. Visitation with be at the funeral home on Thursday July 3rd from 4:30 until the time of the service at (6:30pm). Memorials are appreciated.
