Ruth E. Miller (nee Harris), passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her Sunday April 29, 2018 at the age of 97. She was born on July 22, 1920 in La Farge, WI, to Chauncey and Ana Harris. Ruth married Frederick L. Miller in 1938. They lived in Beloit where they owned a floor covering business and later moved to Sarasota, FL. After the death of her husband, she was the owner/operator of Hummel White Interior Design. Ruth moved back to the West Bend area in 2000. She loved the Packers, playing cards, and fishing and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her two daughters; Patricia (Lawrence "Bud") Rinn and Penny Miller, her grandchildren; Timothy (Michele) Rinn, Jeffery Rinn, Gregory (Dianne) Rinn, Robert and Michael Asselin, great-grandchildren; Madison, Max and Meghan Rinn, Mitchell, Melissa and Ryan Rinn, Logan, Cori and Skylar Henderson, and Ruke Asselin, her niece Sonja Brach and her children, Fred (April) Brach, Jenny Jo Brach, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Frederick and eight siblings.

A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held 1:00pm Friday, May 4th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend) with Pastor Clarissa Martinelli presiding. Please meet at time of service, there is no visitation prior to the service. Place of burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit.
