Roy F. Warner, age 95, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014, at Kathy Hospice. He was born on March 24, 1919 in Plymouth, WI to William and Alvina (nee Miller) Warner. Roy was raised in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1937. Roy was employed as a truck driver for Amoco Oil until he retired.
Roy loved golfing, hunting, snowmobiling, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He was one of the original founders of the Kewaskum Snow Chiefs. He was a former board member for Washington County Hospice. He was a member of Hon-E-Kor County Club and a board member of Park Place Condominiums for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Roy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ginny (nee Bastian-Backhaus) Warner; children Bret Sr. (Jennifer) Warner; step-children Beverly (William) Kober, Otto (Cheryl) Ramthun, David (Patti) Ramthun, Lynn (Larry) Miller, Ann (Dave) Hinz; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn "Tudy" (nee Schlosser-Ramthun) Warner; two brothers and two sisters.
A Celebration of Roy's Life will be held at Hon-E-Kor Country Club on Riverview Drive in Kewaskum on Saturday, November 29 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Memorials to Kathy Hospice of West Bend appreciated.
