Ronald A. (Ron) McWilliams was received into Jesus’ arms to be finally home with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1963, in Paw Paw, MI.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Jeri and Ronald Sr., Aunt Judy Ross, Cousin Patty Ross, daughter Megan, father and mother-in-law Henry and Marie Lau, and brother-in-law Jon Lau. He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Jenna, and her fiancé, Luke; brother, Rick (Deann) McWilliams; nieces, Brittany (Kevin) Schmidt and Sarah (Jesse) Martin, great-nephew Aiden, great-niece Lyla, and other beloved relatives and friends.
Ron was the kind of man who was wondrously transformed by his relationship with Christ; he lived his life as an outward and sincere example of faith built on the rock instead of on sand. When numerous trials and testing would come, he would always respond with fortitude, endurance, and childlike trust in God’s provision for his life. Despite his disinterest during his earlier education years (“MPS, baby…” as he would say), he was a lifelong learner and had many interests and hobbies.
He loved his family and spending time outdoors in his boat.
He loved fishing with his wife; the love of his life and best friend. He was extremely gifted with his creativity and ingenuity, which he channeled into hobbies such as wood crafting and hollowing out a peanut butter container so that it looked full (much to his mother’s annoyance). He enjoyed classical music and Godzilla movies too, but his true desire was to live each day filled with gratitude for how Christ changed his life, as well as modelling to others how faith can transform their lives too.
Please join us in remembering and honoring his life on June 30th. Visitation will be held at Bible Baptist Church, 3500 Beaver Dam Rd, West Bend, WI 53090, from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, with service (and pizza) to follow.
