Obituary
Ronald Walter Katchever, age 84, passed away at his home in West Bend on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was born on July 30, 1940 in Beloit, WI to Anthony and Ovila (nee Meyer) Katchever. Ronald enjoyed working and then later in life being a snowbird to his Arizona home and his summers in Eagle River, WI. While in Eagle River he loved his pontoon boat rides. He was a longtime member of West Bend's 5
th
Avenue Methodist Church. Ronald is now reunited with his love, the late Joanne Katchever.
Ronald is survived by his children, Mark (Leslie), Michael (Donelle), Tony (Amy), Tracy and Kent (Suzanne); step-children, Pamela (Mike) Mueller and Cheri Fitch; grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler (Allysa), Michael, Brandon (Alyssa), Danielle (Kevin) Bowen and Christopher Mueller; 6 great-grandchildren; stepsiblings, Marion and Tony. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by the love of his life, Joanne; stepson Terry Fitch; and his parents.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:15am on Monday, July 28, 2025 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). The visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 28 th from 10:00am until 11:00am. Interment will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Washington County Memorial Park at 10:00am.
