Ronald J. "Ron" Bloomer
Of Slinger, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born in Milwaukee, the son of the late Wayne Bloomer, and Shirley (nee Stoviak) Contois. He grew up in Mayville, WI, living in an old schoolhouse that was converted into a home. Ron worked for many years as a machinist. He enjoyed working with his hands in his yard doing landscaping, decorating for the holidays, and even redesigning the building plans for his house. Ron was a big Packer Fan and would try not to miss watching a game "Go Pack Go". Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Ron is survived by his wife Dawn Romano-Bloomer of 23 years; children Cassandra Bloomer, and Dylan (Regina) Bloomer; grandchildren Evangeline and Dolores Bloomer. He is further survived by sister Vicky (Kenneth) Keller, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenny Bloomer, sister Jeannie Cears, and nephew Ben Kalmus.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, from 1:00PM until 2:45PM, with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00PM, at the Phillip Funeral Home – 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. A private burial will be held at a later date.
