Obituary
Roger Paul Strupp age 77 of Jackson, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 2nd, 2024.
Roger was born on January 23, 1947, in Slinger, WI to Sylvester and Linda (nee Elsinger) Strupp. Raised in Slinger, Roger began working with his family at Strupp Implement. He went on to manage Slinger Speedway, while also building and racing stock cars as one of his many hobbies. He met the love of his life while building stock cars. He married Joyce Heimerman on May 29, 1979. His proudest career accomplishment was building his own barn restoration business, RnJ Repair Service. You can recognize his work by his signature octagon window. In his recent years, you could find him doing handiwork at the Jail House Restaurant, where everyone there treated him as though he were family.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed his spare time at home, tending to his asparagus patch and maintaining the farm. All dogs loved him because the treats were endless. His hobbies included listening to the oldies, watching movies, shaking dice, morel mushroom hunting, decorating his garage, and always thinking about the next project.
Survived by his loving wife Joyce Strupp; loving children Stephanie (Eric) Werner, Timothy (Angie) Strupp, Richard (Jacquie) Strupp, and Stacey (Colton) Weisbrot; 12 grandchildren; siblings Maury Strupp, and Joan Rice. Further survived by many loved relatives and great friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brother Florian, sister Donna, brother Gilbert and many other friends and family.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 4:00PM until 5:45PM, with the Memorial Service at 6:00PM at The Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095, with Pastor John Bass officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. The family will then meet at The Jail House Restaurant, 897 Pleasant Valley Road, to share memories at his favorite place.
