Roger J. "Butch" Knop, age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in his home and surrounded by family. He was born on July 11, 1942 to Harvey and Hildegard (Nee July) Knop. Roger loved to gamble, but his biggest win came in Las Vegas on May 22, 1987 when he married his wife of 29 years.

Roger is survived by his loving wife Jean; sons Scott, Gary (Leah), step-daughters Jody (Dave) Link, Robyn (Richard) Cole, Heather Herrmann, Tracie (Chris) Mueller and Nicole (Tony) Schmidt; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 aunts. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 5:00PM the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, 53095). A visitation will be from 3:00PM until the time of the service (5:00PM) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family.
