Robert M. Woods "Rob", age 56, of Slinger, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was born on April 16, 1959 in Milwaukee to Willard and Violet (nee Grossmann) Woods. Rob met Lori (nee Francisco) and they married on June 15, 1985.

Rob was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs Myah and Willow and enjoyed the outdoors. Camping and visits to the family cabin made for many great family memories. Rob could have a conversation with anyone, especially those he met at the dog park. He was a hardworking, caring person who fought to make it through all his health issues. His children looked up to him for teaching them so much and being such a thoughtful, giving person. He was his family's hero and motivated them to always keep going even when times were hard.

Rob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lori; children Christopher (Jessica), Ashleigh (Brandon) Zimmerman; grandchildren Alayna, Hayden and Lilyana; Further survived by other relatives and friends. Rob is preceded in death by his parents and sister Debbie.

A Memorial Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive West Bend, WI 53095) on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Castillo of St. Paul's Lutheran Church presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
