Robert E. Recht, age 93, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center of West Bend. He was born on July 3, 1922 to Joseph and Sally (nee Kedzie) Recht in Chicago, IL. Bob was happily married to Harriet (nee Hadler) Recht for 67 years. After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, as a Fighter Pilot, he joined the Square D Company and served in a variety of locations and capacities including Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Square D Canada.

Bob is survived by his sons Phillip (Ellen) and David (Lindy); grandchildren Sarah Virden, Marnie (Ryan) McNany, David (Sarah) Recht, Michael (Kelsey) Recht, Peter Recht, Charlie (Ali) Recht; great-grandchildren Mary, Jack and Finn McNany, Aaron, Grace, Tyler and David Recht, and his son-in law John Virden. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, daughter Martha Virden, his parents, and siblings Sallie, George, Jack and Ernie Recht.

Private services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Outreach (Senior) Services of the Cook Memorial Library (413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048) or to a charity of your choice.
