Robert L. Muraski, age 81 passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home. He was born on July 23, 1934 in Madison, WI to Louis and Ethel (nee Kenfield) Muraski. Robert graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1953. He married Eleanor (nee Fischer-Guenthner) on December 31, 2007 in West Bend. Robert was employed as a Certified Automatic Pin Setter Technician in Oshkosh for 30 years and worked for Neenah Foundry.
Robert was a volunteer at EAA for 15 years in the War Birds section and most recently volunteered for the tram service. He was also a member of Loyal Order of Moose in Fond du Lac and the past Governor at Kaukauna. Robert enjoyed bowling and playing cribbage with wife and granddaughter Shannon.
Robert is survived by his wife of seven years, Eleanor; step children Mark (Amy) Guenthner of Cottage Grove, Amy (David) Kreutzer of West Bend, Karen (Gerald) Hawkins of Georgia; twin brother Richard (Nancy) Muraski of Oshkosh; nephew Thomas Muraski of Oshkosh. Robert is further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church (140 N. 7th Ave. West Bend, WI 53095) on Monday, August 3rd at 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. A time of continued fellowship will follow.
