Robert John Miotke, Affectionally known by all who love him as Bob, age 86, passed away on Friday, October 30,2026 at Kathy Hospice in the Town of Polk. Bob was born on November 10,1939 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Robert A. and Eleanore (Nee: Pretlitza) Miotke.

Bob retired in 1994 from the Washington County Sheriff Department where he was employed as a Detective Sargent. He was promoted from Sheriff to Detective Sargent in 1972. He was employed as a Milwaukee Police officer from 1957 to 1967. He served in The United States Coast Guard Reserve for 8 years.

Bob is survived by his wife Charlene Miotke, his stepchildren; Timothy Hefter and Kathleen Hefter, his sister Virginia Ripple, and siblings-in-law; Marvel Grady, Donna Stoffel and Joanne Machecek. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews; Thomas (Kathy) Ripple, Sueann (Rick) Gordon, Patricia (John) Brusk, Katy (Bruce) Schmidt, as well as great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his first wife Eileen (Nee: Farming) Miotke as well as many siblings-in-laws.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Bob on Monday, November 9,2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4886 WI-175 Hartford, WI). Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. -10:45 A.M. Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 11,2026 at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend at 11:00 A.M.

Donations to St. Lawrence Church have been suggested by family.
