Robert "Bob" H. May
Passed unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep on September 27th, 2023, at the age of 59. He was born in Port Washington, WI, the son of the late Alvin and Mary (nee Albrecht) May.
The family moved from Port Washington to West Best where Bob attended West Bend East High school; he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. Shortly after graduation he lost his dad to cancer. Losing his hero, he turned to his all-time favorite passion: Rock N Roll. Being a talented guitar player and having a voice to match he joined many other great musicians up on the stage. He was a member of the following bands: Ukiah, Class of 62, Glove, Impaler, Cooling Agents, 2-ton Epoxy, The Stuff, Crack Babies, and The Billy Shears Band, to name a few. If Bob wasn't at a gig, you would find him spending time with friends, getting put into "Facebook Jail" for his political views, or helping any stray animal that would cross his path big or small didn't matter.
Bob is survived by his children, Tyler, and Samantha; former spouse Roni May; his brother, John (Natalie) May, Nieces, Abigail (Grant) Fisher, Amanda May (husband Matt Cera), and great niece Magnolia May Fischer. Bob is further survived by other family members and many close friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin (Mary) May, his favorite uncle; Ray (Karen) Albrecht, Aunts: Angie Weber, Cindy Miller, and many other great friends that like him went to early.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Garett Elward for his support and friendship for Bob these past couple years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20th at 11:30am to 1:15pm at Phillip Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
