Obituary

Robert L. Marshall, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at The Kathy Hospice of West Bend. He was born in Michigan on April 25, 1946 to Lorraine and Margaret (nee McClure). He graduated from Marshall High School and Kellogg Community College. He served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971. Bob retired from Miller Coors Brewery.
He was a member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish, Ballast Scorchers Train Club, and Knights of Columbus. He was an avid geocacher ("BrewskyBob"), and former member of The Kettle Moraine Squares.
Bob enjoyed working on the family farms in his younger years. He also enjoyed traveling with his family and camping in Wisconsin Dells. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and husband.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (nee Dettlaff); cherished children, Richard Marshall and Lisa (Scott) Barber; special son of his heart, Steve Jahnke; adored grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Barber; siblings, Mary Chapoton, Gerald Marshall; and sister-in-law, Carol Marshall. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Gene Chapoton; parents-in-law, Ethel and Gerard Dettlaff.
A special thank you to the team at Columbia St. Mary's Cancer Treatment Center -Ozaukee Campus including Dr, Michael Fetherston and the guardian angels at Horizon Home Health and the Kathy Hospice.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 13th at 6:00 PM at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish (406 Jefferson St, West Bend) with Fr. John Radetski presiding. The visitation will be at the church on Monday, May 13th from 4:00 until 5:45.
