Robert J. Marks "Bob", age 84 years, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Robert was born on June 10, 1931 in Hubertus, WI to John and Elizabeth (nee Schuster) Marks. Bob's first and only love was his wife, Joan (nee Fowles). They married on March 15, 1952 and shared over 63 years together. The couple lived in West Bend and Sheboygan and then retired to Mission Texas for 25 years. They returned to the area in January 2013 and lived at Cedar Ridge in West Bend and for the past year at Autumn Oaks Assisted Living in Slinger, WI.

Bob enjoyed a lifelong truck driving career both as an owner and operator as well as driver for various trucking companies including E&K Hauling in Sheboygan, Lynn's Waste Paper and Wiedmeyer Trucking in West Bend and retiring from Driver Service Inc. in Chicago, IL.

Robert is survived by his daughters Margie (James Sr.) Fellenz, Lynne Gordon, and son Robert P. Marks. He is further survived by his grandchildren James Jr. (Jennifer Fellenz), Julie King, Travis (Brandice) Gordon, Andrew Marks, Alexander Marks, Alyssa Marks, great-grandchildren Jaimie, Tyler, Madison, Mya and Ava, Trinity, Brody, Nolan, Alexis, Regan and Hayden, great-great grandchildren Caleb and Lylah, sister Rosetta (James) Witzlib, sister-in-law Judy Gillis. Bob is preceded in death by his lifelong love and wife Joan, who passed away just weeks ago on September 17, 2015, his parents, grandson Nicholas, brother John Marks and brother-in-law Lyle (DeAnna) Fowles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Colleen Moss presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, October 9 from 3:00 pm until time of service (6:00 pm). In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the charity of your choice.
