Robert A. Guenther, age 92 years of West Bend, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at The Lighthouse of West Bend.
Robert was born December 4, 1920 to Hilbert and Ella (nee Lierman) Guenther in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School. Robert married Lorraine (nee Roesler) on May 18, 1946. He retired from A&P Food Stores as an accountant.
Robert is survived by his children Mark (Nancy), Tom (Diane), Carin (John) Benning. He is further survived by his grandchildren Christopher (Michelle), Jennifer (Lincoln) Guenther-Green, Kyle Benning, Sarah Guenther, 3 great-grandchildren, step brothers Donald Benz, Jim Benz, sister-in-law Lorraine Guenther, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lorraine and brother Harold.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Pastor Rich Vincent presiding. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 8 from 11:00 am until time of service (1:00pm). Memorial are appreciated to Immanuel UCC of West Bend (501 Walnut St., West Bend, WI 53095).
