Robert "Bob" R. Fredrich
Age 83, passed away peacefully with his wife and son at his side, on Saturday, March 8

, 2025 at Froedtert in Menomonee Falls. He was born on July 8
th
, 1941, to Raymond and Ellen (nee) Staeck. He fully enjoyed his high school years there at Mosinee High School, playing football, basketball, and skiing at Rib Mountain. He kept those feelings in his heart, often wearing Mosinee sweatshirts. After high school Bob attended the University of Stevens Point, where he graduated with a degree in Art Education. He spent his teaching years, first at Bayport High School in Green Bay, then Ozaukee High School and later in the West Bend School District, where he was teaching art until retiring in 1997. During his teaching career he taught thousands of students, some going on to pursue their love of art and especially ceramics, Bob's specialty. During his teaching career he coached wrestling and completed his master's degree.
Bob is survived by his wife Terri of 57 years; and son, Craig. Bob is also survived by siblings, Ginny (Mike) Zell, Laurie (Elio) Pascutti, Lois (John) Lukesh and Ann (Dave) Tice; siblings-in-law, Butch (Liz) Beyers, Dick (Mary) Weyenberg. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Ellen Fredrich and his sister, Mary Ellen.
During his lifetime, Bob lived fully. His passion was cross country skiing, and he was good at it. He skied the Birkebeiner 20+ Times, Badger State Games as well as races around the country. He shared his skiing experiences with many people who continued to be good friends. His circle of friends was broad. He had friends from his regular exercising at the YMCA, weekly rounds of golf. He travelled with his wife and family to Arizona, California, Florida as well as Aruba, Antigua and Italy. An important love and passion that most everyone knows about Bob was his excitement and joy of hospitality. Wonderful food and entertaining were joys in his life. Bob left this life having touched many family and friends with his warmth, kindness, generosity and sense of humor. He will be so missed.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at St Frances Cabrini (1025 S 7

Ave, West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr Jacob Strand presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, March 20

from 10:00AM until 11:45AM.
