Obituary

Robert J. Enright, 58, of West Bend, was born to Eternal Life on February 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma. Born February 25, 1956 in Elkhorn WI to Mary (Prout) and Walter Enright, he was raised in East Troy, where he graduated from high school in 1974.

Rob is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Sue, whom he married December 10, 1999, his father, Walter Enright and sister Sue Enright, both of East Troy, daughter Theresa (Doug) Blazek of Racine WI, stepdaughters Megan (Louis) Guzzo of West Bend, Michelle (Nicholas) Walsh of Hartford; and cherished grandchildren, Evalynn Taylor and Adam Walsh. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary in 2006.

Rob spent his entire career in the stainless steel industry, working for 25 years at Trent Tube in East Troy where he worked his way up the ranks to plant superintendent, before crossing into sales in 1998. During his time as General and Sales Manager at Chicago Tube and Iron he graduated from the Strategic Metals Management program at Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. He later became Regional Sales Manager for O'Neal Metals before retiring in 2012.

Rob became a member of God's family in 2006 and was baptized on August 19, 2011. He enjoyed leading a small group at Kettlebrook Church in Jackson, and most recently had attended Northbrook Church in Richfield. His quick wit, warm smile, contagious laugh and cheerful nature were his ministry to others, putting everyone at ease.

Rob loved being outdoors, especially where dirt was involved. He enjoyed fishing, golf, traveling, US history, riding his motorcycles, especially his prized Honda Goldwing, bicycling on the Eisenbahn Trail, watching Westerns, riding his Farmall tractor, and raising chickens, most of which he had named. Rob was a devout Packers fan, and in his younger years he raised show horses. He loved people and enjoyed spending time with his wife, many friends and family. He always looked forward to coffee time with 'the guys'.

Rob's legacy will live on through the West Bend Multiple Myeloma Support Group which he and Sue founded to help others live better, stronger, longer lives through support and education. He loved to talk with and encourage fellow group members, especially those who were newly diagnosed.

Rob touched many during his lifetime, and was greatly loved by all who knew him. Passionate about people, kind and giving, he truly loved others unselfishly. He lived life to the fullest, and is now enjoying eternal life in his Heavenly home, where we look forward to being reunited with him one day.

A Memorial Celebration of Rob's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, at 11:00am at Northbrook Church, 4014 Highway 167 West in Richfield, WI with Pastor Robert Boerner officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 8:30am until the time of the service.

The family wishes to thank all those who supported Rob and Sue during his illness, including his oncologist, Dr. Parameswaran Hari; the kind, caring staff at the Froedtert Cancer Center & BMT unit; his many friends at the International Myeloma Foundation, his family, friends, and condo buddies who brightened his life every day.

Memorial contributions in Rob's honor may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation's Black Swan Research Initiative, at www.myeloma.org or 800-452-CURE.
