Robert "Bob" Dennis Dei, age 59, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at his home in Kewaskum, on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was born in West Bend, Wisconsin on November 26, 1963, to Byron and Lucille (Scheerer) Dei. Voted "Most Rowdy" by his peers, Bob was a graduate of Kewaskum High School, Class of 1982. Bob was united in marriage to Laure Beine on August 18, 1990, in Slinger, Wisconsin.
Bob was an enthusiast of Harley Davidson motorcycles and a wide variety of music, particularly Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne. In his retirement, he enjoyed preparing food, traveling, and visiting with family and friends. Bob was a strong union advocate and member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 for 34 years, retiring as a crane operator working for Findorff, Inc. in 2018. From the crushing crews and highway dirt work at the start of his career, to power plants and crane operation in Milwaukee and Madison – he had a passion for discussing his involvement in the jobs he worked on with anyone who would take interest.
