Obituary
Robert John Arrowsmith, age 78, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home in Menomonee Falls. He was born on May 30, 1945 in North Dakota to Robert and Martha (nee Ruskowsky) Arrowsmith.
Robert grew up in Necedah, WI with his family. He graduated from Necedah High School. After graduating, Robert drove trucks filled with nitroglycerin as a civilian for the military. Robert stayed in Wisconsin for some years before moving to Chicago. He had a successful tow trucking business as well as a recycling yard. Robert then moved to Michigan City, Indiana. He taught OSHA certifications, welding, forklift operating and many other things. Robert enjoyed working. Nothing was more important to him then working and learning new things. He also enjoyed his radio ministry that touched so many lives, mechanics of all sorts from heavy-duty-trucks to small engine repairs, and our farmette in Iron River, Michigan, Arrowsmith Acres. His love for music was also with him until the very end.
Robert loved his family dearly and is survived by his children, devoted daughter, Christina (Matthew), son Rob (Brittany), daughter Brenda, daughter Rebekah, son Robbie (Ashlyn); ex-wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Danielle, Judith, DeAnna (Tye), Alexander, Mikaela, Lindsay (Josh), Michael (Alayna, Chevy, Layton, Laine, Marcie, Keeley, Ella, Orion, Brandon, Kamber, Breanna, Vanessa; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Aurora, Greyson, Ava, Lily, Maverick, Alexander and Aria. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Diana, Heather (Jon) and their son Dylan, niece, Shannon (Gary) and their children Ryan, Tyler, nephew, Chad (Millie) and their children Emma (and daughter Addie), Ethan. He is also survived by special friends, Darren, Chris, Cynthia, Phyllis, Julie K, and Rhonda.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Francine Arrowsmith, ex-wife Susan, his son Richard Arrowsmith, brother Thomas Arrowsmith. He has also lost many dear friends over the past few years.
To honor Robert's wishes, no formal services will be held. A small memorial gathering will be held as soon as arrangements can be made.
