Rita A. Heiman (nee Morgan), 80, passed away on Sept. 28, 2013. Rita was born November 14, 1932 to the late John and Rosella (nee Weber) Morgan. In 1953 Rita responded to an ad and began writing to a Marine named Carl Heiman and later became his bride on September 18, 1954. They were happily married for 59 years.

Rita enjoyed gardening, listening to Polka, peanut butter and politics, but mostly she loved and was a devoted mother and wife who took good care of her family.

Rita is survived by her husband Carl; her children Debra (Richard) Roberts, Cynthia (Richard) Showers, Samantha Heiman (Kurt), Patrick Heiman (Courtney); her grandchildren Caryl, Brandon, Travis, Selena, Jeremy and Lexie. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Aloys Morgan.


The Funeral Service for Rita will be Thursday, October 3rd at 5:00pm at the Phillip Funeral home (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend). The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 3rd from 3:00pm until time of the service at 5:00pm.
