Rita T. Beder (nee Spaeth), 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She married Oscar Beder on April 29, 1944 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Polk until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and eating at Ponderosa. She and Oscar spent many winters in Texas and she loved getting together with all of her family.

She is survived by her loving children: Anthony (Louise), Mary, Michael (Janet), Gerard, Kathleen Wiedmeyer, Anne (William) Wenninger, Robert (Theresa), Dennis (Linda), Mark, Joseph (Julie) and Janice (Douglas) Yee; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Theisen, Ethel Weninger, Irene (Fred) Schellinger; brothers: Joseph W. (Betty), Charles I. (Barbara), Edward (Patricia), Lawrence (Alice), Michael, Daniel (Mary); sister-in-law Donna Spaeth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Margaret (nee Melder) Spaeth; husband Oscar; daughter Darlene; son Richard; brother David Spaeth; son-in-law Stuart Wiedmeyer; daughter-in-law Alice Beder and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 8:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St, Slinger) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. The Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, November 23rd from 4:00 PM until 7:45 PM. Interment will take place at (old) St. Peter Cemetery on Tuesday, November 24th at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Rita.
