Richard Wolf, of North Branch, MN, died peacefully with his daughters by his side at the J.A. Wedum Hospice Residential Home on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Rick was born in Hartford, Wisconsin on April 24, 1957, to Bernard and Dolores (Hamm). He was a hardworking man who loved his two daughters, job, and family and friends. He grew up in West Bend alongside his three siblings, Vicki, Jim, and Joe. Over Memorial Day weekend in 1979, he moved to Minneapolis to begin driving truck for a family-owned trucking company, Consolidated Container Company. Rick was a loyal employee of Consolidated Container for over 34 years; driving truck all across the Midwest until August 2013.

While living in the Twin Cities, Rick married and had two daughters, Brittney & Kimberly. While the marriage ended several years later, Rick continued to remain devoted to providing for his family. In September 2010, he was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer; however, Rick refused to let cancer stop him from living, and fought endlessly over the next three years. During that time he witnessed the marriages of his daughters, three more birthdays and Minnesota State Fairs (an avid fan of cheese curds), the graduation of his goddaughter, and the birth of his first granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard. Survived by his mother, Dolores; brothers, James (Chloe) and Joseph; sister, Victoria; daughters, Kimberly (Alex) Olin, and Brittney (Theo) Quant; granddaughter, Adalynn Olin; and nieces, Tanya Wolf (James Roerick), Amanda Wolf, Kaitlyn Wolf, and Alexis Wolf.

Rick's daughters, Brittney & Kim, would like to extend a special thank you to all friends and family who called and visited in the weeks leading up to their father's death. The family will hold a private burial service in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Slinger, WI.
