Obituary

Richard J. Wagner, age 68, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Mon., July 6, 2015. He was born on October 13, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to William and Eva (nee DeGroate) Wagner. Richard was a dedicated employee at Milsco Manufacturing Company where he worked for 41 years.

Richard served his country in the U.S. Army, Vietnam era. He was a lifetime member of the Allenton Lions Club. He enjoyed helping others, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Veronica (nee Schwarz); children Cindy Taft and William Wagner; grandson David Taft; sister Joyce (Tom) Fendryk; brother William (SunCha) Wagner; sister-in-law Carol (Ray) Berg; brothers-in-law Harold and Daniel (Judy) Schwarz. Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and sister Elizabeth Wagner.

A Memorial Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive West Bend, WI 53095) on Sat., July 11th at 1:00 PM with Deacon Mike Koebel officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the WI Lions Camp (3834 County Road A Rosholt, WI 54473) or the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 902 Pewaukee, WI 53072) are appreciated.
