Obituary
Richard Lee Slade, aged 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Mequon, Wisconsin. Richard enjoyed traveling with Mary, golfing and his adventures as a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Richard was an active member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church and the West Bend Masonic Lodge. Richard is survived by his three sons, Richard II (Sherry), David (Suzanne), Bradley (Tracie), seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Charles (Marsha), Sister-in-Law, Beatrice, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Mary, son Brian, brother Thomas and parents, Harold and Dorothy Slade.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM at the 5th Avenue United Methodist Church in West Bend on Saturday, May 10th , 2025. Following the event there will be a catered reception in the Church Fellowship Hall In lieu of flowers, a donation to Shriners Hospitals would be appreciated Love to the Rescue - Memorial Gift To attend the service via live stream.
