November 19, 1940 – July 27, 2024
Richard "Dick" G. Faber
Passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 27, 2024, and is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Richard was born on November 19, 1940, in West Bend, WI, the son of the late Walter and Pearl (nee Jones) Faber. He entered the United States Marine Corps at a young age and served a four-year tour. He worked as a machinist at Gehl's and Simplicity while serving in the Army Reserves and later retired as a Master Sergeant from the Air force Reserves. Although he had many titles, his favorite role was being a dad and grandpa. He had a strong faith in the Lord and led his family by example. Richard enjoyed traveling and anything outdoors; especially four wheeling and bicycling. Most of all the joy of his life was spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his daughters Deanna (Clint) Gerlach, Brenda (Joe Pintens) Doyle, and Kimberly (Jeffrey) Moon; grandchildren Brian Schmidt, Brandon (Amanda) Peter, Jeremy Doyle, Nicholas Doyle, Joshua Wille, and Alexander (Hannah) Wille; great-grandchildren Roman Peter, Isaiah Peter, and another on the way. He is further survived by siblings Tom (Joanne) Faber, Kenny (Bonnie) Faber, Sharon (Gary) Pocian, and Randy Faber; sister-in-law Rose Faber; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Joshua, and brother Jim Faber.
It was Richard's wishes that private services be held.
