Age 84, passed away on July 22, 2015 at home in Allenton. He was born on July 3, 1931 in Milwaukee to Russell and Marion (nee Helwig) Bennett. He met Marilyn Multhauf in Milwaukee and they married on Aug 13, 1954 in Milwaukee. Richard served patriotically for 20 years in the United States Army and served in both Vietnam and Korean wars.

Richard is survived by his children Steve (Annie) Bennett, Tom (Karen) Bennett, Mary (Bob) Pollow, Scott (Linda Luna) Bennett, Doug (Kelly) Bennett and Ingrid Stettler; grandchildren Lorelei Bennett, Jamie (Josh) Hagedorn, Nicki Bennett (Max Censky), Ken Bennett, Lacey Luna, Lori Luna, Tanya Ayala, Teal Clark, Brandon Bennett, Kevin Truppe, Sarah Universal, Jenna McNicholas and Megan Bennett. He is further survived by great-grandchildren Alexis, Lucas, Estella, Annabelle, Cash, Brianna, Adyn and Hannah. He loved his family very much and they always meant the world to him. Richard is preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr., West Bend) on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 5:00pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 3:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10:00am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery (3801 West Morgan Ave., Milwaukee).
