Obituary

Reinhart Conrad (Connie) Hofmann Jr. 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Connie was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 29, 1934 to Reinhardt & Viola (nee Schultheis) Hofmann Sr. He attended West Division HS, and completed 4 yrs. at Boys Tech College.

Connie worked for Wisconsin Electric Power Co. for 43 years as an underground foreman, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 2150. He married the love of his life, Patricia Beckmann-Sumter on May 2nd 1959 on Rib Mountain. His favorite hobbies included: restoring old cars, racing cars at Slinger Speedway, building bird houses, spending all the time he could with his Grandchildren, gardening, and raising Calla Lilies. He enjoyed spending a lot of time in the Northwoods, hunting and fishing.

Connie is survived by his daughters, Denise Hofmann and Wendy Galecki; son-in-law, Larry Galecki; grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner and Tori Galecki; brother, Edward Hofmann; and granddog, Dozer. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, sister Carol.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 3:00PM at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI) with Pastor Katherine Kuhn presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:30PM until the time of service.
