It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Paul Terrell (Ray), age 50, on July 22, 2026. He was born on April 6, 1976, in North Carolina to Nannette Terrell and George Rodriguez. Ray spent most of his childhood growing up in Ohio before moving to Wisconsin, where he met the love of his life, Denise. Ray and Denise were married on October 25, 2003, and together they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with three wonderful children: Alyssia, Isaiah, and Elijah. Ray was also a proud grandfather to Jaxon.
A devoted family man, Ray’s greatest pride and joy were his children. Outside of work, where he spent his career as an electrician, he could always be found cheering on his children at their sporting events. He especially loved coaching their teams as they grew up. A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, Ray also looked forward to every football season and hoped they would beat the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his dedication to his family, Ray faithfully served his country. After graduating from high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for seven years. He later continued his dedication in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, serving a combined 26 years of military service before being honorably discharged due to medical reasons.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Nannette; grandmother, Letha; grandmother-in-law, Beverly; and granddaughter, Kenzlee. He is survived by his half-siblings, aunts, uncles, and other loving family members.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Morning Star Lutheran Church, N171W20131 Highland Rd., Jackson, WI 53037. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment with full military honors will immediately follow at Washington County Memorial Park, 3358 Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at UW Health Carbone Cancer Center, Froedtert Hospital—especially the Oncology Department at the Main Campus and the 2nd Floor MCU in West Bend—and Kathy Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Ray and his family.
