Phyllis D Riemer, 89, of West Bend, entered eternal life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
Phyllis was born on February 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Harvey and Adeline (Vetter) Dreier in Milwaukee. On March 13, 1957 she married Ronald Riemer in Waukegan, Illinois.

Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While growing up she was active in Job's Daughters and she attended Custer High School, graduating in 1954. After graduating Phyllis worked in a doctor's office and also for Greyhound before becoming a fulltime homemaker while expecting her first child. Besides Milwaukee, Phyllis also lived in Glendale, Cedarburg, Colgate, Germantown, West Bend and Coloma as well as Marion, Ohio.
Phyllis enjoyed reading, cooking, spending time with family and taking care of her home. After her children were grown she enjoyed traveling with Ron and seeing the country.
After Phyllis moved back to West Bend in 2012 she became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in West Bend.
Those Phyllis leaves behind to cherish her memory are her five children Debbie (Lloyd) Keesler of Viroqua, Lori (George) Scheidt of West Bend, Scott (Maureen) of Hales Corners, Sharon Rusch (fiancé Mario Gonzalez) of Appleton and Carole (Layne) Bendekovich of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren Michelle and Phil Galarowicz (Grace, AJ and Hazel), Brandon Keesler and special friend Tessa Siemen, Hannah and Nathaniel Cook, Taylor and Jenny Keesler (Jameson and Rory), Lindsay and Tony Hunsicker, Libby and Nick Schulz (Oliver and Caden), Dan Suffern, Nick Suffern, Lexi and Blaine Henderson, Lana Riemer, Daniella Riemer, Max Rusch, and Ted Rusch. Further survivors are her sister Virgie (Rick) Richter of Arizona and her nephew Doug (Cindy) Richter and Lainie (Kevin) Walsh along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded to her heavenly home by her husband Ron, her in-laws Frank and Bertha (King) Riemer, a sister-in-law Arlene Sanborn and her brothers-in-law Frank and Duane Riemer.
A visitation for Phyllis will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10a at Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend, WI with a Celebration of Life service following at 11a. Interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park following a luncheon at the funeral home.
