Phyllis A. Burg (nee Washburn), age 71, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was born in Hartford on April 5, 1942 to Gilbert and Florence (nee Kolpack) Washburn. Phyllis was the co-owner of Burg's Garage in Slinger. She enjoyed ceramics, rosemaling painting, quilting, and loved animals, especially dogs. She was a member of Faith UCC in Slinger.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Timothy (Sherra); grandson, Thomas; siblings, Delores Schickert, Edward (Sandra) Washburn, Roger (Kathryn) Washburn; nieces, Kimberly and Phyllis; and nephews, James, Chad, Blake, Darrell, and Mickey. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and sister, Carol Gensmer.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 22nd from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Interment will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford on Thursday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM.
