Peter Aloysius Winkels "Speedy Petey", passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the age of 59. Peter was born to the late Aloysius and Margaret (nee Goyette) Winkels in Milwaukee, WI on Nov. 2, 1954. Peter graduated from Brown Deer High School. He served in the United States Army and later loved working for Telsmith for over 30 years. He was an active member of the ABATE club, enjoyed riding his Harley, loved woodworking, especially making birdhouses. He loved life and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Lisa and Matthew Winkels; precious granddaughter, Angelic Sworske; the mother of his children and close special friend Laurie Winkels; siblings, Pat Winkels, Kathy (Sherry Heisler) Stoffel and Anthony (Chris) Winkels; nieces, Denise Stoffel, Wendy (Mike) Schmit, Jacquline (Brandon) Broeckel, Samantha and Paulette Winkels; 5 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews. Further survived by other relatives and many longtime, loving and caring friends.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents and precious daughter, Rebecca Lee.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, Dec. 13th, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI, 53095) with Chaplain Ron Schneider officiating. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, Dec 13th, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 AM at the Boltonville Union Cemetery in Boltonville.
