Peter A. Hansen, age 36, passed away on Friday October 30, 2015. He was born on August 16, 1979 in Illinois. He was very active in the Cedar Lake Yacht Club having served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and Vice Commodore. Peter was an active Race Officer for the Inland Lake Yachting Association. He loved to play golf with his father, brother and Uncle Bill. He loved to spend time with his family on Palm Island. He was a loving husband and dedicated father to his three children.

Peter is survived by his wife Megan Trester; children Fiona, Nigel and Silas; parents Bruce and Tanya (nee Mazella) Hansen; brother John (Kate); Russian brother Daniil Voronkov (Lena); parents-in-law Rick and Sue (nee Buchholz) Trester; sister-in-law Robyn (Matt) Vaupel; nieces and nephews Josh and Alexis Hansen, Nathan and Addison Vaupel. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 7:30PM at St. Peter's Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St, Slinger) with Father Richard Stoffel presiding. A visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (3333 N. Mayfair Rd, Suite #107, Wauwatosa, WI 53222).
